Recently I have read an article where it is stated that co-education contributes to progress in studying. It is said that girls' presence calms the boys and fosters better relationships between teachers and pupils. Besides it is much better when there are more girls than boys in the class.
The survey shows that classes that include more than 55% of girls results in better exam results.
As a result, both girls and boys have better academic results in Science and Mathematics.
So before choosing the establishment your child will study in think about his well-being and the pros and cons of this and that type of education.
